San Coffee Room in Toronto

It all started as an idea one late night in the living room, likely over some good tea and a whiskey or two.

The concept of San, meaning three [ 三 ] in several asian languages such as Mandarin and Japanese, represents connection and collaboration – working together towards a greater goal. We believe coffee is all about connection, whether in your local café, at the farms, or in kitchens and living rooms all over the world.

Brodie Vissers had been traveling the world as a photographer while gaining experience as a visual storyteller and consultant in the global coffee scene, from places like Spain and Berlin to China and Indonesia. Nigel Wang, former co-founder, had always wanted to start a cafe, but specifically one focused on great design and and an equally beautiful experience.

By mid-2018, Brodie and Nigel were leading coffee experiences with people in their living room and even did a few pop-ups around Toronto and Barcelona until finally launching their first café in Toronto, Canada. The coffeeshop is now called 135 Ossington and is run exclusively by Nigel.

San Coffee Room is now a creative coffee studio, and the vision remains the same.
